T-Pain Claims Kanye West Advised Him to Nix a 'Corny' Lyric, Then Used It on His Own Album

Pain said Kanye made it clear that he should never say anything like that, only to turn around and seemingly use a revamped version of the line -- "Too many Urkels on your team, that's why you win slow" -- on the title track "Dark Fantasy," to his acclaimed 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. "I was like, 'Did this n---a try to get me to not say my s--- so he could say it? I was like, 'Bro, what the f---?'" he said of the line that ended up on Pain's song "Danger." "That's my bar! I was like, 'Bro, that's my bar!' 'I got beef like two burgers/ You n----s win slow and I'm smarter than Steve Urkel.' He looked at me and he was literally bobbing his head, grabbing his chin, and when I said that line he looked at me and said, 'Don't say that.'"
